Never a dull moment....???

We had a consult with Dr. Kofinas on Monday. He said I have a genetic thrombophilia called PAI-1 Gene Polymorphism (Heterozygous 4G/5G). It affects implantation and contributes to poor blood clotting, and this could finally be the reason why I had 3 losses last year and 3 failed FET's this year.

We tried on our own this cycle, as Dr. Keningsberg encouraged us to. My last failed FET was in October. I am on CD 34 with no period yet. They ran a blood test on Mon. to see if I was pregnant. My cycle was weird this month...we tried but I really don't know when exactly I ovulated. They could tell from the sono that I did.

So, it was a BFN....but.....my estrogen was 136 and my progesterone was 9.1. The nurse told me that if I still don't have AF by Friday that I should go for another blood test to see if maybe I implanted late or ovulated late because these levels could indicate a potential pregnancy forming still. Or it could be a potential chemical. The weird thing is that during my last FET, even with the Endometrin and PIO, my progesterone was lower than this....at 7.

I hear you about the dull moment! This is all so frustrating!!! At least you are getting some answers?! for a BFP and that Dr. Kofinas can treat you!

I have 4g/5g as well. You're in great hands with Dr. Kofinas. He knows his stuff for sure!

I am now on CD 35 and no AF. I don't want to have any false hope, but I can't believe I still don't have my period yet.
