yes, teachers can have it too. It is related to health issues and the ADA. I know two teachers who have it in my building. I was curious if anyone had gone through the process here.
For example, a 504 plan can insure that a teacher with asthma has an air conditioner (not my case, but one I know of).

I will ask. I know a teacher I work with has asthma, and has an air conditioner in her room. I know if you talk to a union rep in your buidling they can further help you.
I will ask that teacher how she did it.
