new approach

ok so I have decided that after 3 egg retrievals and 4 IVF attempts and everything else I have decided to take a break...I was in the ER last night and all was ok with the OHSS good blood flow and no torsion but I have been having increasingly high amts of pain down there so I went to RE this morning and saw on a sono that one ovary is the size of a grapefruit the other an orange and there is a huge lake of water between them no wonder I am in pain so he claims it should go away in a week or so and I should be back to normal...but I am not sure I can do another IVF cycle so I asked him if we coudl try an IUI we were not a candidate for it before but wierder things have happened. So sometime in dec or jan I will start again as for now I am out!!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: new approach

I'm so sorry you are going through this...it does take longer than a week for everything to go down completely, but you will fee 100% better within the week.

Thankfully, you had good blood flow- I ended up on an IV because I had almost no blood flow whatsoever...every ounce of fluid in my body had traveled to my ovaries.

I hope you are feeling better soon...I can't commiserate with you enough and am now on the verge of it happening again....Chat Icon

I hope that you start to feel better really soon. I don't know what you are going through, but I know it is very difficult and stressful. I hope that you can try again soon.!
