New Baby Gift Idea
A girl from work just had a baby. Other than 1-800-flowers, is there another website we can send her something from (something w/i 24 hours). Thanks

www.ftd.com
Or you can call your local florist and they can arrange a delivery for you from a florist near her home.

Somebody sent us a bouquet of fresh fruit after my son was born and we LOVED. We got a lot of flowers, but IMO something you can eat is better.
My best friends also brought to the hospital a bunch of large cookies arranged in a red wagon that had all the details of his birth written on each cookie like "8 pounds" "9:14 am." It was adorable (and yummy!) and we kept the red wagon and its in his room now.

Re: New Baby Gift Idea
I was thinking of maybe getting a personalized blanket or maybe a gift certificate to a restaurant. I got the edible fruit when I had Peyton and I loved it but I'm not sure if this girl is into fruit.
I hate when this stuff falls on me!

Re: New Baby Gift Idea
What about one of those cookie baskets (where they can write the name and date). I got one for my engagement and I still have it 4 years later (of course the cookies can't be eaten but it still looks really nice).

Re: New Baby Gift Idea
Why not a couple of GC to local places that deliver food. I'm sure she's not going to have much time to cook.
