new carpeting in nursery

we had new carpeting put in the baby's room today. the previous carpet in there was cheap, but apparently had very good padding under it b/c it was thick and comfy. the carpeting through the rest of the house from the previous owner is pretty good with high padding so we never changed any of it.

now granted i didnt buy an expensive carpet b/c it will be a baby's room, but the place said they were giving us very good padding to go under it.

um..if its very good padding why does it feel like i can feel the hardwood floor under it? Not only that but the guys ripped our screen door coming into the house and effed up the closet door in there.

DH is ****** to say the least and im not sure at this point what can be done b/c i doubt they're going to come back, rip it up and put new padding under it.
