New Crinone symptoms question?
As long as I could remember I have always have had menstrual like cramps in my 2ww (even with my first pregnancy).
I am about 9 days past o and I am not experiencing any cramping. Not the usual cramp here or there for this time in my cycle. I posted earlier in the week about cramps on one side but they have disappeared.
My questions is, can crinone (or progesterone in general) cause less cramping then normal?
Sorry,I really am trying not to analyze too much but I can't help it!

Re: New Crinone symptoms question?
the thing with any progesterone supplement is that it can completely mimic early pregnancy and AF symptoms. once you are on it, it is wise not to look into ANYTHING. progesterone could be the cause of your lack of cramps but that doesn't mean anything as far as a BFP goes. progesterone will also commonly cause AF to be delayed or late, so you can't even just wait for AF.
anyway i hope it is a BFP for you. but as far as any "symptoms" or lack of symptoms, although it may not necessarily be caused by progesterone, it can also all be caused by progesterone. unfortunately there is no way to know what is caused by progesterone and what isnt, so you're better off trying to ignore everything .

I agree with Flowerwife that there's no way of knowing with Crinone ....... but you are already 9dpo so you will know for sure if you're pregnant soon!! Good luck!!!
It really is best not to read into things.. I know its so easy to say though

Thank you! You are both right. It is probably a blessing in disguise that no symptoms or lack of can/should really be looked into when on these meds. I was kind of disappointed that my iui timing was not ideal so I'm hoping I'm still in the game either way.

What wasn't ideal about your IUI timing?

I thought I may have missed my surge so I panicked and went in for a sono. The sono showed a mature follicle (22) and tons of fluid around my lining (whatever that means). Based on the sono the doc said he thinks that I had just ovulated or was about to. He scheduled me for and iui the next morning. Did the iui Tuesday morning and based on my blood work from the day before I did not ovulate and did not even surge yet. Took the trigger tues night and had another iui wed morning. Therefore I most likely o'd wed so I had both of my iui's before I actually ovulated and one before I even triggered.
It was totally my fault because I should have trusted the opk, I have always been accurate in the past.
I am not on clomid or any other meds other then the crinone.
What do you think of that (the iui timing that is)?!

Hmm Well if you had the IUIs before you O'ed, the sperm DOES live up there for a few days!!! Did you BD at all after?
I would continue to be positive!! You will know for sure VERY soon!

Re: New Crinone symptoms question?
Yes we did for good measure. I would have thought it was good timing but then I read about all of these iui's being performed 24-36 hours after the trigger shot. Thank you for the good vibes,I appreciate it
