New Driveway or a Vacation ?

What would you do ???

I dont think we can do both this year - So we can either widen our driveway to fit two cars or goto Disney -

In your opinion what would you do....

I want to also add - We are already going to AC in March and Hershey Park (company picnic) in July....

I would do the driveway....and thensave during the year for a vacation

I am all about tangible purchases. So for me, a vacation is not what I would spend hard earned $ on. I would rather see the fruits of my labor year round in my driveway.

we're just going through this too!
i REALLY want to go to hawaii this summer, but theres a bunch of remodeling i want to do around the house. although, everything i want to change works, i just want better- looking stuff and we could afford one but not both.
here was my thinking on it.... when i'm 70, am i gonna say " boy, i'm glad i got that new refridgerator?" or am i gonna say " boy, i'm glad i got to see hawaii" ?
i picked the second choice, and we're booking the trip this week

in your case, though, you already have a few getaways planned, and it sounds like your driveway is causing some problems for ya.... so i don't know! good luck deciding!

I totally agree - DRIVEWAY.... I think parts of me wanted to see more post for the vacation just cause I want to goto Disney - BUT you are really all correct in saying Drvieway -

Well I think (of course it depends on the tax return) We will be doing the driveway....

I'm gonna DEF have to say Driveway.....It'll be there forever and one less house project you ever have to worry about. Disney will come and go before you know it....with just pictures as memories.

i'm practical and i voted driveway. i think while you have the $$$ it's more important to do the repairs on the house.

We did it last year & are going on vacation this year. Worked out really well for us. Driveway lasts longer too.

Alright - I know I'm in the minority - but if your driveway isn't falling apart and it is just a renovation to make it bigger, I say go to Disney!!!!!!!!

If your driveway is falling apart and is that bad - that's another story.

This is a Very Tough Decision,
I do not have a House.
We just have an Apt, so At first when I saw Disney, my Favorite Place, I was about to Vote.

But then I thought about it, & if we had a house, I would probably go more towards the Driveway.

I am going to go Vote for the Driveway.

Really Hope you can Do Both!!!!
