New Faces Modeling
Has anyone here used them?
DH and I were walking in the mall last week and were stopped by someone from the agency/firm.
We filled out a card and they have called 2x.
They want to meet with DS tomorrow, but, I told the woman, honeslty I need to wait until after the holidays.
They want both DH and I to make this appointment to meet with them and find out how to get started, etc.
The downfall...I get sooo nervous with scams.
So, DH said "Ask the people on your site"..LOL.
Is this a scam? Will we have to shell out a lot of $$$?
Any feedback is Greatly Appreciated.

I do not know if it was this company or not but this happened to my cousin. They were approached in the mall about their son(my gorgeous godson ) and they went and it turned out to be alot of money to get a portfolio and stuff. I think in the $1000's, they did it and nothing ever came of it. No work nothing. So they really blew the $.
Meanwhile with no representation he booked a nickalodeon pilot. So they feel scammed!

if an agency asks you to pay for anything-they are a scam
if they are serious about you or your child- you wont pay a dime

They are a scam. They approached us too and I told them my children were with an agency. They never even heard of our agency and at that point I really knew it was a scam.

we are with a legit agency and they did not ask for money for anything.

So glad I asked you ladies.
I get very nervous and of course hesitated.
I think I also saw them at a Ducks game over the summer.
Im glad I told her we are not avaiable until after the holidays.
If they do call back, Im just going to kindly decline.

They approach us everytime we are at the mall. And everytime I tell them I am not interested.
If you pay attention, they go after teenagers, toddlers and babies with a vengance. It makes me wonder if they get $$$ just on how many people sign up

They are def a scam... if they ever make you pay it is a scam... My mother actually has all the paper work on what to look for when it comes to these companies that look to scam you from when I did commericals when I was little... If I can scan it in I will let you see it... If you are looking for modeling places to send your pics... look at fresh faces, Wilemina, Ford... there are some others.

They come up to me all the time. I've told them honestly that I heard their company was a scam. Their reply is usually "I understand."

Dawn - as gorgeous as Bryan is, and you know that he is - these companies like to prey on us mommies to shell out the big bucks... I have heard about this before and its such a scam...
They would never get me - Cailen never smiles at a camera....

I had a gut feeling it was a scam and that is why I came on here to double check with all of you ladies.

They approach me EVERY TIME I'm at the mall with my kids. I ignore the heck out of them because I think they're scammers. They go up to everyone with a child.

They are a total scam! I went for the first "interview" and one of the managers spent over an hour with us and when we told him we'd have to think about the $1k+ for pics he quickly shut the book and ushered us out!!
Also, I've noticed that any time they approach me in the mall, they don't even look at DD. I mean, my God, at least FAKE it!!!

They did have some legal battles a couple of years ago regarding scamming people out of money, but I do not know what came of it.

The reason they're still in business is that I think they DO get jobs for people, but not until you've spent thousands on headshots, portfolios, etc.
