New Here...
Hi everyone! I am a semi-frequent poster, but am in hiding right now 
I just got my BFP yesterday (I am now 14 DPO) and plan on calling my OBGYN on Monday to schedule an appointment.
What can I expect from my Dr. at my 1st appointment?
Thanks in advance!!!!!  Very new at this if you can't tell

Congratulations!!! Happy and healthy 9 months!!!!
Although I've read that most doctor's wont see you before 8-9 weeks, my doctor wanted to see me right away. So, I went about 5 days after I got my BFP. He did a regular exam, a pap (it was time anyway) and he spoke with me about what foods to eat/not eat. He also gave me a script for prenatals. I am going in for my first sono on the 18th

Congratulations and Welcome!!
First appt dr. did internal exam, took weight, blood pressure, blood sample, urine sample, small family history regarding birth defects and down syndrome.
It had been almost a year since my last PAP smear so I got that too.
I received a little info packet and an Rx for pre-natals

Congrats from one Mommy in Hiding to another 
When you call your doc, they probably won't schedule an appointment for you until you are between 6-8 weeks. It is a KILLER to wait that long. You can try to get in sooner, to make you feel better, but they might not see anything if it's too early.

My doctor didn't want to see me until 8-9 weeks and on that appointment, they did a sono.

Congrats!
My first appointment was around 6 weeks. They weighed me, took my BP, checked my vitals and took about 6 vials of blood. They also gave me a prescription for prenatals.
I had my first sonogram at 8 weeks.

congrats!!!
When i called my DR. wanted to see me immediatley. They gave me another pregnancy test, and an RX for bloodwork. He also did a quick internal and said "there is definietly something growin in there" He went over things to avoid also.
Then I made an appt for a sono and another appt- which was about 2 weeks later...

Congratulations!! 
My first appt was an emergency one around 6w, so they didn't do the normal stuff, but I think they just weigh you, checked your blood pressure and ask you some questions.

congratulaions ~ happy and healthy 9 months!
my first appt took my blood pressure, weighted me, did an internal, took a pee test and then they sent me for all the blood work and gave me lots of goodies in a baggy (prenatal vitamins (samples) with some magazines

Congrats and welcome. Your dr. will probably have you wait until you are 6-8 weeks before your first appt.
