New here!
Hi,
I'm new to LIF, just got married in January! I live in Seattle, but I'm from LI and got married in LI (and am still trying to recover from my LIW addiction....).
DH and I are TTC, and I have been lurking a little bit on this board. I need some help with the lingo - there's lots of abbreviations on here that aren't on the "lingo" list. HELP! I am clueless!!!!!!!!!!

DPO days past ovulation
AF- aunt flo(period)

I believe that CF = cervical fluid and CM = cervical mucus

CBFM= clear blue fertility monitor
POAS= pee on a stick
OPK=ovulation test kit

I never would have guessed what POAS stands for!
What does everyone mean by "charting"? I have a calendar on babyzone.com that tells me which days we should BD. Is that charting?

Charting is when you take your temperature every morning and record it the data into a charting program like www.fertilityfriend.com. Your temperature rises after ovulation so you can time bding (baby dancing/sex).
You can also purchase opks (ovulation predictor kits) from any drugstore ...those are to help predict ahead of time when you are ovulating
ewcm (is egg white cervical mucus....which looks like egg whites and is the most fertile...and usually means you are about to O, so you should be "bding" when you see it.
2WW is the two week wait, from Ovulation to when you get your AF. (aunt flow/period)....
