New here
I just saw the "observation" post and figured that I would "come out". I have been reading some of the posts on this board but have not been ready to join it. At my 7 week sono we were told to expect a m/c. This past weekend was when everything happened. I really wish that there was something like this for my DH. He has been great but I feel bad that he doesn't have someone to talk to about everything.

I am so sorry for your loss
I know what you mean about wishing there was something for dh. Mine was great afterwards too, but I know I kind of shut him out a little bit because I didn't want to rehash everything...it would be great if there was a site for them.

Re: New here
I'm sorry you are going through this.
We are all here for you!! This board has helped us all get through everything.
It was hard for my DH too. I know he shared alot with his parents & then they guys at work ( b/c he was constantly leaving work for me)so the guys knew something was wrong. He ended up finding out 2 of his co-workers wives went through multiple miscarriages....so it was good to get support from other men who have been through it. And all of them now have healthy children at home
One thing I realized after going through this.... Is how common Miscarriages are. I never knew 1 out of 4 women will go through it. I was so surprised to later find out how many relatives, friends, co-workers who have gone through this too.
I will tell you this....You were able to get pregnant. SO it will happen again.
Lot's of babydust for when you are ready to TTC again.
I am here to chat if you need it

Re: New here
I'm so sorry for your loss. It is a horrible horrible thing
I k now what you mean about DH...I would come on this site during the day and talk it out with the girls..and my husband would tell people that he thinks he's taking it harder than me..he had a really hard time..I told hikm it's because I had the girls on here that I spoke to and got it out..and that i was trying to be strong for him. I don't think people think of the men when it comes to this but they suffer the loss too. It may not be physical...but it certainly is emotional.
This is a wonderful site and the women on here got me through some tough times. They still do!
Let me know if you need anything

I am so sorry for your loss.
Miscarriage is an awful experience that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. It's something that rips at your heart and changes you forever. This board is a wonderful place for you to vent, talk and heal. The girls on the board are amazing and I know that we are all here for you.

Re: New here
I am so sorry for your loss. The ladies on this board are a wonderful support system.
I think it's hard for DHs because they have to watch while the m/c happens to our bodies. While we have the physical experience of the loss, they don't. It is also so much easier for women to find support to discuss the m/c. Your DH should feel free to come on this board for support. Maybe we would be able to get him in contact with some of our DHs (mine isn't much of a talker, or I'd offer him!).

Re: New here
I'm sorry, I can't imagine how horrible it must be to be told to expect that. This really is an awesome forum with those who understand.

Re: New here
Andrea, he can always talk with Mike. Even though we haven't gone thru this and we won't be TTC, Mike is a great listener with a sympathetic ear. My heart goes out to you, and so do my wishes for lots of sticky dust.
with love, Susi

Re: New here
So sorry to hear about your loss. Though these boards have been slow lately, this is a special group of ladies who are some of the most compassionate and welcoming people you will ever *know* who are always here for you!
