NEW: January Mommies to be Thread!!!
Hey fellow January Mommies!!!
I haven't seen any updates for us lately, so I thought we'd start a brand new thread.
I'm 14 weeks today, and OFFICIALLY out of my first trimester!
Pretty much all of my annoying symptoms have disappeared with the occasional bout of heartburn here and there, and a few headaches a week. I'm not nauseus anymore, and I don't feel the need to eat every hour in order to avoid being sick.
I went to the doctor last week, and I gained 3lbs in four weeks and they are very happy. I was surprised it was only 3lbs! Maybe I'll take these eating habits away with me for after I have the baby.
How is everyone else feeling?
Theresa (and )

Re: NEW: January Mommies to be Thread!!!
hi january mommies!
doing great over here! the little duck () and i saw the dr 2 wks ago and said everything was great! the anatomy scan happens in 2 wks where we would have found out the gender but we (read: **i**) want to be surprised
i still have that annoying back pain at night and the dr said it most likely will not get better (only worse!) so i decided to see a back specialist just in case he can teach me ways to alleviate the pain... hope it works!
other than that, not doing much else is new, except reading that AWESOME book baby bargains, and really getting prepped for all the shopping in a couple more months. love love love that book! if you don't have it, get it 1st time mommies!!
xoxo Lupe

Hey Jan Mommies!!
I'm 15 wks, 2 days. Feeling pretty good (my body is pretty soar, not sure why though).
I'm offically in maternity clothing. Lovin it!
Not too much to report except I'm starting early with the nagging towards DH. I want him to install attic stairs so we can empty the nursery's closet (no need to have Christmas decorations so readily available). Hope he comes though

I am 15 weeks 2 days.. I am feeling good starting to get my energy back. Last night, I ate a big bag of sour patch candy and I swore I felt the baby move. It felt like like a fish swimming and then it itched do I dont know.. But it wasnt down low, I'd say it was in line (maybe a little lower) then my belly button.

15w3d today. I am feeling good except for a lot of pressure/tightness/pulling - in other words my belly is starting to feel heavy, and I know this is justs the beginning! I am also having butt and back pain if I sit or stand for too long - which I am sure is also a result of the heaviness! My appetite is coming back, I have been able to eat more. I have an appointment tomorrow.

Re: NEW: January Mommies to be Thread!!!
Hi Girls!
Still feeling good over here. I think the is finally starting to subside a little bit, but it's being replaced by the fabulous feeling of having to pee at 3am every night!
I haven't felt any movements yet...i'm waiting patiently !
I went to the doctor a week and a half ago to go over my NT sono and at that point i had gained 4lbs total so far. I go back to the doctor on 8/22. Is that too late to do the AFP test? I'll be 18weeks. Hope everyone continues to feel good!

Re: NEW: January Mommies to be Thread!!!
Hey Chickies,
Im doing better. Thank goodness. my only complaint is I can't sleep. I am up at all hours of the night, and then passs out randomly in the daytime.
The little Jalapeno is doing good and he/she loves jalapenos. I can eat them like they are going out of style. That and cheese. Im not so sick anymore and don't feel the need to always have a snack with me "just incase".
I am 14w 5d today and only up a total of 5lbs. Im suprised with all the cheese.
Other than that things are good. I go next week for some bloodwork and hopefully that too will all be good.
Feel good Ladies.
Jenn and the Jalapeno.

Re: NEW: January Mommies to be Thread!!!
Beepy and I are doing just fine.
So relieved to be out of the 1st tri, but also can't complain since I have not had any m/s, and on most days, barely feel PG!
Had ultrascreen last week, so anxiously awaiting results for that.

Hey Girls,
I'll be 15 weeks friday and feeling good (well, still feeling nothing actually) Not as tired as I used to be but have been running to the bathroom more. I finally got some maternity pants which I love. I don't know why we don't wear these all the time.....

Re: NEW: January Mommies to be Thread!!!
Hi Mommies,
I'm 15w4d and I'm feeling pretty good. I'm up at 2 like clockwork to go pee. Actually one night I woke up 3 times to go. The monkey and I went to the ob on Saturday. Everything looks good. My bp is getting lower and I'm actually almost at my pre-preggo weight. The doctor was joking around about how difficult the baby has been. I told her that it took 3 IUI's to get pregnant, it took 3 u/s to get the right one for the nuchlar, so she said that she hopes that it doesn't take 3 attempts to deliver me Sunday, DH and I went to BRU to check out furniture, bassinets & travel systems which was a lot of fun. I already have a registry so I added some more things to it. Once we find out the sex, I'm going back with my mom to finalize it. I'm taking her with me because I know she will think of things that I would never have thought of. Today I go back for another bloodtest and soon I have to make the appt for the Level 2. I can't wait to find out if the little monkey is a boy or a girl.
