new jerseyans - question about hope, NJ

we're going to the Land of Make Believe in Hope NJ.
whats a good town to stay in overnight, with things to do for children nearby?

not many hotels come up when searching for hope, nj.

(coming from queens and LI so nothing too far).

i've never been to it - but in Netcong (about a half hour away) is Wild West City...it's supposed to be cute'ish...

not sure about where you can stay near Hope with other kids' stuff though - i'm sorry!!

i live in NJ... i've never been to LOMB, but i know at exit 35 off of 80, theres a nice hilton garden inn ( right by the rockaway mall), or at exit 37, theres a nice, newer Hampton inn, too.... i know LOMB is at exit 12, so not sure if thats too far, but just thought i'd throw it out there! have fun!!

hope isn't too far from the delaware water gap. there are a lot of sleepy towns around there. if exit 37, as suggested, is too far for you... how about crossing into pa. stroudsburg and east stroudsburg are the first two exits in pa (i think) with a lot of places to stay.
