New Kitchen Applicances. Is stainless the only color to go with?

New Kitchen Applicances. Is stainless the only color to go with?
SO I am on the market for a new fridge and over stove microwave.
My applicances are currently white. So in reality I would need to change everything if I change those two things. which means I would have mismatched applicances for a year or so, which I can live with *i think*
Is stainless the only way to go these days? Is black or white toally out of the questions. If we were to put the house up for sale, are buyers only looking for stainless?
need help deciding what to do. Stay all white, or make the switch and live with mismatched applicances for a while.

I personally think all stainless is starting to look dated. DW and I are looking at appliances that are closer to 50/50 stainless and black.
No matter what you pick, some people will like it, and some won't.

I know, I wonder if in 20 years stainless will be the harvest gold of the 70's, haha

Go with stainless, even if you replace one by one. My mom is doing this now... she has those off-white bisque color appliances and just replaced the dishwasher and microwave in stainless, will do the stove and fridge when she can. It doesn't look bad honestly.

I'd def do stainless. If you didn't want to spend the extra money, then it would be white. But I guess it depends on the rest of your kitchen and what would blend best. I think buyers are looking for stainless without a doubt though.
