New Laptop (mouse help)
I got a new laptop and it has a touch-pad mouse - I'd prefer to use the buttons to tap instead of the pad - does anyone know how to disable the touch-pad for tapping?
I tried mouse properties in the ctrol panel - but I think I'm missing it...

Re: New Laptop (mouse help)
I don't know how to just disable just the touch pad without using a separate mouse.

I don't know. I have an external mouse on my lap top and the touch pad has never been a problem.

I use a wireless mouse too. In control panel, under mouse, it opens up and there is a tab for devce select. There you can set all the touchpad properties, and you can also disable it there.

Thanks everyone! I found it - it wasn't in the mouse properties, but in the touch-pad properties which I found my accident! Just disabled tapping!!!!
