We are pleased to announce that service has been restored on the Port Washington Branch. However due to severe flooding during this morning's thunderstorm and the service suspension, evening trains are still being relocated. As a result, several trains will be canceled and combined. They include:
The 4:22 PM train from NY to Port Washington has been canceled . Customers are being accommodated by a Port Washington Branch train three minutes later at 4:25 PM.
The 4:43 PM train from NY to Port Washington has been canceled. Customers are being accommodated by a Port Washington Branch train three minutes later at 4:46 PM.
Throughout the day, LIRR employees were hard at work pumping water out at stations including Bayside, Mineola and Carle Place -- where we experienced the worst flooding.

Port Jefferson Branch Customers:
At this time service remains suspended on the Port Jefferson branch between Hicksville and Huntington due to a fatality at a grade crossing in Syosset.
