New Mac user here...question for the others
We finally converted, and so far love our Mac! I miss my shortcuts, and have to get used to the new ones, but other than that it's great. I have a question though.
Aside from the whole "it's not Windows" thing, what do you love about your Mac? What application do you have the most fun with? Just curious...thanks for any input.

Macs don't get viruses often and as a person in publishing, they are just wonderful. Great for art directors and just user friendly.

Re: New Mac user here...question for the others
No viruses, no popups.
I LOVE that you can just drag a photo from iPhoto into an email or or anywhere. I love that it's just clean and slick.
Even in Officem you cna just drag and drop in awyas you can't on a PC. I think that's why people like it for arts, publishing, etc.
I love my mac. I miss my mac.
I cracked the screen and I can't afford to get it fixed

Re: New Mac user here...question for the others
I've been doing a ton of publishing on my Mac, so I use Quark often. I also use DreamWeaver on my Mac to design websites, but that can also be done on a PC. I'm still not 100% used to it, so I don't love it yet...It's growing on me. I think part of my problem may be the Quark application...It keeps quitting on me and makes my life miserable. this turned into a vent--sorry! I keep losing files when they become corrupt in Quark.

i love that you can .pdf any file, you don't have to pay for extra adobe software. the graphics are amazing, the DVD creation capability, the ease of photoshopping and web design.

I also love how I can run multiple applications (of large sizes) without the computer slowing down or being stressed by the workload.

I LOVE the /pdf ability. It's amazing and I use it s much. It's really great if you pay your bilkls online and you don't want to print the confirmation page. i just save it as a pdf.

I never warmed up to Quark personally, so I feel you. I love when they upgrade & then you have to buy a "patch" to be able to read the older version Quark files. But that is a Quark issue not a Mac issue.
