New mommies--What your plans for today the 4th of July
Well, since our arrived early she is actually here for this holiday.
She is 9 days old. We will be home, maybe I will take her in the yard for some fresh air for a little bit, but otherwise nothing going on.
just curious what everyone is is doing today.

DD is 4 weeks old now. We'll be staying home today. We saw fireworks a few nights ago, plus MIL is having a bbq tomorrow, so we decided to just hang out at home today.

DD is 8 wks old and we are taking her to a BBQ and block party. I have taken her out a few times; just not letting everyone touch her. The fresh air is good for her and tires her out!! AT 9 days old i would be staying home also...enjoy though!

Yea, at 9 days I don have much of a choice!
But I think just bringing her in the yard will be good for her.
We have a big day ahead of us!!!

Emma turned a month last night - we're hitting our friends' bbq that we go to every year.
the only change we're making is that we're going MUCH later than we normally would - to keep her precious bunny skin out of the sun as long as possible...
we're prepared with california baby sunscreen (as per the doc), a stroller umbrella and she'll be VERY covered from the sun as best we can..

DD is 6 weeks, and we are having a BBQ at our house. We will have 30 people here at 4:00 , but I fugured it would be better this way. I can put the kids to bed at their usual 8:00 bedtime, and still be able to enjoy my family and friends.

We're going to be heading over to DH's cousin's house for a BBQ. DD (7 weeks) will be hanging out in her stroller in the shade, or in grandma's arms!

DS will be 4 weeks on Monday. We went to a festival in Stony Brook for a little while. It wasn't great so we went to Stony Brook village and got some ice cream and walked around. Then we came home and BBQed. It was a great day!
