no big gush more like few smaller gushes... and the water kept on coming out once in a while while I was in labor...
Same here..... I wasnt sure what it was, thought maybe mucus........I really thought they were sending me home!!!

With my first, it was a HUGE gush because he was still breech and his head was not there to slow the water down...
With my second, my doctor broke my water when I was nearly 10 cm dilated and ready to push.

My water broke on its own and it was a huge gush. So disgusting.
I started have contractions like 24 hours later after my water broke.

My water started to break at 9 in the morning. The night before, I had lost part of my mucas plug.
By 12 it was a bit more.
By the time I got to the hospital, it was gushing out of me and it didnt stop until about 6 hours later!
