new My Gym location coming to Nassau County!
I was looking into My Gym for DS, and was on the website looking for a location by our new house in Bellmore. Not that this would help me, because it's not by Bellmore, but for mommies in the area, there is a new location coming to the New Hyde Park/Garden City area! 
Just thought you would like to know

I just signed DD up for classes for the new semester....and it was $220 for 10 classes and 10 free-plays. They have 2 free plays a week and you can pick which one you want to go to. So ultimately 20 sessions.

That is OK. They are hour-long sessions.

That's not too horrible a price - about what music together can be - but you also get the free play times too.

That's not too horrible a price - about what music together can be - but you also get the free play times too.
Call and check your location with the price though. My sister goes to the Stony Brook site and pays more. Also, I pay cash all at once at the beginning of the semester and my sister pays monthly for it.
However she had unlimited classes all summer long.

They have different classes for all age groups.
The "Little Bundles" class starts at 6 weeks.

My son loves My Gym. We went to the one in Huntington. He doesnt go anymore because when our 2nd son came along it was tough to deal with both of them there. We had our 1st son's 2nd B-day party there as well and that was great

Yeah they weren't very helpful- I emailed them yesterday to ask when they were opening and WHERE in Garden City/NHP they would be located. I told them I wanted to plan for the class and if they didn't have a date could they tell me when they planned to open - fall, winter, spring?
Basically I got a canned response after a few hours - saying it will be in the Garden City/NHP area - and that they would put me on a list so when they have an opening date they would let email me an invite to their grand opening. So really not a helpful response.

I know - as I said not very helpful. I wasn't planning on signing up at another location but I was deciding if I want to sign up for another class and since this place is close by I would hate to sign up somewhere else only to see this place open. I figure if they are going to be so vague that they might not have finalized their plans
