New ob reccomendations
I am looking for a new dr. I posted a few weeks ago that there was a sac but my dr couldn't see anything in there and told me it was unlikely that this was a viable pregnancy. I had bloodwork taken which was 24k to go up to 29k in 48 hours. So I went back for another sono and she said that the sac grew but still didn't see a heartbeat so that this again wasn't a good pregnancy. The next day I got a call that my bloodwork was at 46k so that we should wait one more week. I feel like she has written this off from the get go but these ups and downs are not good for me. My lmp was 4/19 and my symptoms are increasing. I would like some reccomendations for a woman obgyn that delivers either at Winthrop or manhasset Lij. This last month has been pure torture and I have no answers!

Re: New ob reccomendations
Let me just say as an High risk OB nurse at 46,000 there should be a fetal pole and HB actually once your beta hits 1,000 we can see a gestational sac. I'm not sure your lmp but if there's nothing there with rising beta it could be ectopic or just never developed into a baby.
As far as OB recommendation I use North Shore OBGYN Associates in Great Neck. All of the doctors are nice but Dr Jessica Rubin is my primary and Drs Alkasab and Gilbert are female and great too. They deliver at North Shore Manhasset. During my last pregnancy I used Dr Lauren Bashian in Bellmore she delivers at LIJ but I switched due to the crazy wait times. She's good though if you're willing to wait.
Good Luck

New ob reccomendations
Im sure shes working based on her experience. Based on LMP you should be lik 9/10w no?. Obviously you could have ovulated late etc... but at this point there should absolutely be something to be seen on a sonogram.
My LMP was 4/11 and im 11w today.
Unfortunately i cant help with a female OB

Re: New ob reccomendations
I'm not hopeful of this being a valid pregnancy. I just don't like how she is handling this. It's been a lot of ups and downs and I feel like no concern for people's emotions. Especially she knows I have been trying for #2 for almost 3 years. Just craziness!

I would try to get an apt with dr Kofinas in garden city. I know people who went to see him when they had situations with sono and bloodwork not matching up. He doesn't deliver so you will still need an on bit you can see him in the meantime. He only takes out of network ins though last I heard.
