New/Old Stove
So for now DH and I postponed our dream of buying a house on LI and we have decided to give our co-op a mini-renovation. My 8 year old Kenmore stove just died and I started looking for a new one. However, I came across some websites for some old (retro) stoves like the Chambers stoves (same one Rachel Ray has on her show) and me and DH fell in love. If any of you guys are doing renovations and have one of these old stoves from the 40s, 50s or 60s and are looking to sell or know of anyone who is looking to sell, please FM me. DH & I like the retro vintage look for a kitchen and decided that's the way we are going to go. I know there are plenty of renovators on this board and many houses in LI that are still kept in original condition have some great vintage stoves. Thanks!

Re: New/Old Stove
Mr Jay;s Appliances sells new stoves that look retro. If you don't find a real one you might want to look into that.
