New pants

How far into the pregnancy did you ladies have to go up a size in your pants? The scale says that I've gained only 1 pound but my pants and bra say differently.

Re: New pants

I didn't buy a size bigger but moved to maternity pants at 11 weeks when my pants were just too uncomfy.

Re: New pants

At 34 weeks I am still wearing my own work pants but needed to go to maternity jeans at about 16-17 weeks.

Re: New pants

I bought a couple of new bras at around 8 weeks. My boobs got too big, and my regular bras started to look obscene. Even my DH commented on how I needed to buy new ones asap. Chat Icon

As for maternity pants, I officially wore my first pair at 11 weeks. I bought a couple of pairs of elastic waist pants at NY&Co and wore those starting around 9 or 10 weeks.

I haven't gained that much weight yet (under 5 lbs) but my body changed shape, so I needed to change my wardrobe.

I have to give a big THANK YOU to my sister who lent me all of her maternity clothes so I at least have some nice stuff to wear right now.

Re: New pants

I bought maternity jeans around 10 - 11 weeks bc my old ones were super uncomfortable. I can still get away with most of my work pants but hopefully not for long.

Re: New pants

My current work pants are elastic waist ones from NY&CO but they are starting to get uncomfortable/not sit right.

My maternity jeans still are a little big and they are giving me plumbers butt!!! Chat Icon
