New Roof Estimate
Question Ladies... My parents are looking into replacing their existing roof on their house (ranch). Anyone know about how much it might cost them to have their roof replaced entirely? TIA!

Re: New Roof Estimate
I had two layers removed and a brand new roof installed for $5,000. I have a split. I called a ton of places for estimates. I would just give them my address and they would leave the estiamtes in the mailbox so I didn't have to be there when they came.

How long ago did you have that done? Do you have any of the places that gave you the estimates? Thanks so much

All of the quotes I received were between $5,000ish and $6,500. I went with the company that was referred to me by my neighbor and we paid cash so they did it in 2 days for $5,000. It was November of 2005.

I searched my local pennysaver and just called a bunch of places plus one company that did my inlaws roof in Westbury (I'm in Commack). I had it done in November of 2005. My insurance company insisted! I still have the estimates at home. I will check tonight and post the names of the companies.
