New shopping,etc The Lighthouse at LI in Uniondale!
Did you guys ever hear of this? It looks great, just thought i would share. I love the thought of something new coming here to LI.

I'm not sure it's been fully approved yet. It's Charles Wang's baby and it looked like he had gotten approval, but now there seems to be a lot of NIMBY's coming forward saying they don't want another shopping area so close to RF and The Source.
The hotel and new coliseum are a good idea, but he has to get approval for the whole project.

I can definitely see both sides. The traffic would be a nightmare....but at least it might create some job growth - we need that here.

The lighthouse itself is already gone from the plans. It still has years to go before being a reality.
