new to the board with a few questions...

Hi I just had my son on 1/18 and he has been having problems with his formula (spitting up and gassy) so the doctor recommended adding chamomile tea to his bottle, has anyone ever tried this? Do you think I should ask about switching the formula? (taking similac advance and we tried adding mylanta to his bottles but it didn't help)

also, what do you put on under your DC sleep sack? I'm always worried he is going to be cold but don't want to over dress him.

Thanks for your help I'm sure to have many more questions to come.

congrats!

DD had terrible gas, so we switched her from Similac Advance to Similac Sensitive and it worked wonders for us.

We use a sleepsack and it really is a great invention. We dress her in regular terry cloth type carters pjs and put the sleepsack over them...she is fine (we keep the house pretty cool at night...around 65).

Congrats and Welcome.

I agree with the others and try switching to one of the more sensitive formulas.

Under his sleepsack he wears footie pajamas. If it's really cold I'll put a onesie on underneath that!

Welcome and Congrats!Chat Icon

My DD had the same issues and we switched her formula from Similac to Gentlease. We also gave her Mylicon drops to reduce the gas. Both together worked well for her.

I think a light sleeper under the sac will be fine.

Good Luck!

Re: new to the board with a few questions...

We started on Similac Advance then we went to the Similac Isomil Soy and then finally to Similac Sensitive RS. The 3rd time was the charm, because DD has been on that since about 3 months and she's almost 10 months and no more issues!

We also use a sleep sac and it's great. We put DD in a regular sleep outfit and then place her inside the sac. Great invention!
