What does it mean to have many foliciles? I went to the Dr becuase we are trying and nothing has happened. So she wants me to have a fertility workup done. I did bloodwork and a sonogram on day 3 of AF. They just called and said that I have many follociles. That is good news right, So now DH has to have a test that he is not too happy with and on day 11 I go for another sonogram and more bloodwork. Is there anything else I should know. Thank you.

Well, what else are your symptoms?
Do you have irregular periods? Have you been charting or using OPK's? Do you know if you are ovulating?

Do you know what size the follicles are? Many follicles can be a sign of PCOS, but you'll have to wait and see what the results from your bloodwork are.

Yes I have irregular periods. I dont chart but I sometimes use opk. But I guess becuase Im irregular Im not checking on the right days.
I dont know what size the folliciles are. I asked the nurse if that was good that I had many and she said yes. This friday is day 11 and that is when she wants me to start using the OPK. Once the color changes, I have to go for more blookwork and another sonogram. Thanks.
