New Years activities...ATT TEACHERS!
Does anyone have any New Year Activites? Or any fun activity they do when returning from a break. I teach 3rd-5th grade special ed, and they have difficulty transitioning back. I need good motivator!

1. NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS
2. Goals for 2007
3. Draw a picture of the IDEAL YOU in 2007
4. Write a letter to a soldier wishing him/her a Happy New Year
5. How can they make the world a better place in 2007? Writing prompt or creative visual... (or something using magazine cutouts?)
Let us know what you end up doing!
I wish I could do a lesson like this for tomorrow - I teach 8th grade collaborative (inclusion students) - 8th grade is so content-driven. We're constantly gearing all lessons around the upcoming assessments... BOR-ING!!!
