Beautiful!

You should start charging admission, it's like a nature preserve!

It is amazing the amount and types of birds you get in your yard...I live in the boonies and all I get are sparrows, doves and pigeons.

Lisa, great pictures!! I've been trying to catch pictures on weekends of my visitors. I'll post them tomorrow probably. Chat Icon

Where did you get those seed things that the Downies were munching on? I've been putting out suet but those look pretty good too.

I went to Wild Bird Center last weekend and picked up some more safflower seed and peanuts to mix with the Patio Mix I bought earlier. That seems to satisfy everyone. Even the squirrels. Chat Icon

Whatever keeps those bastards from eating the bark of my maple tree, I'll feed them!

Btw, I was going to get a thistle sock too but I didn't think there were many Goldfinches left around. I think I'll get one next time though - you inspired me. Chat Icon

Dh has been buying squirrel chow and throwing it on the ground and on our bench...they love it (so do the birds)and leave the feeders and bars alone!
