New Years Eve
Ok i know its somewhat early to be thinking about NYE but its my DH and I 's anniversary and we are trying to figure out what to do.
What have you done that you have enjoyed?
We were thinking about going away somewhere possibly but we would like there to be a "party" on new years eve at the hotel we stay at.
any recommendations?

One year we rented a townhouse/ski house in the Poconos - there were like 14 of us and we spent like 3 days/2 nights up there. Had a blast - skiied during the day and just hung out and played games and drank at night. Another year we all went to Chateau Briand with like 50 people (friends and friends of friends) so we got a ton of tables and went from room to room with different music - if you have a lot of people that's always a fun time!

One year we got 5 or 6 couples together and did one of those New Years eve parties @ Sheraton somewhere in NJ.
It was like being @ a wedding reception- a lot of fun. Open bar( cocktail hour & dinner,dancing. The price included the hpptel overnight and breakfast the next morning. We had a great time.
I guess a catering hall would have been good as well but it was nice that none of us were out on the roads
I can't rember which town it was in
Maybe a nice b&B, something out east

3years ago we went Stayed at the Melville Marriot and went to a club via taxi.
2 years ago we went to the party at the hilton which was ok.
last year we got married on new years.
so we were looking to make this really special.
we actually just got off the phone with ceasar's and put a deposit down at the paradise stream. we will qualify for the honeymoon package too!
