New York City Employees please come on in...
I'm a DOE employee who lives on Long Island.
My accountant is saying I need a NYC 1127 tax form completed.
He's thinking I should have received a two different W2s.
I'm going to call payroll tomorrow  but I figured I'd ask here too.
Anyone have experience with this?

Not me but I didn't think as an LI resident working in NYC that there were tax implications?

I am ex-DOE and worked for NYC while living outside the city- I never needed anything but my W-2. I always had my taxes done and my accountant never said anything about additional forms. He is very well-versed so I would be surprised if you needed more forms.

Some city agencies need it, some don't . My husband and I both work for NYC, he needs it and pays city taxes, I do not.
