New York Sports Club question?
Does anyone use the commack location?
Is it nice?
Is it expesnsive?
What are their classes?

I used to and its TOTALLY overpriced for what it is. You can go to comparable gyms for WAY less money, IMO.

I was looking for something in the area and was having a hard time finding one gym to fit all of my needs.
I am actually in the process of doing a trial at the Deer Park NYSC and I love it. It is new and beautiful and clean. Depending on what time you would be going to the gym, you can join Deer Park and use Commack off peak. I plan on doing this since DD's preschool is around the corner but haven't been there yet.
I don't think the rates are bad at all, unless you are planning on doing the Passport membership (where you can use any location at any time). The Gold membership at Deer Park is only $39 a month.
They are running 30 days for $30 on their website (this is a website only offer). Why don't you try it out and see if you like it?

$39 is GREAT for NYSC by me (Queens) It is $75
