New York to Bermuda cruise on NCL
Has anyone done it? We are thinking of going in July for my parents 40th.
We will have a 3,4 and 5 year old with us.
Has anyone gone? Did you notice anything special for kids?

What boat are you going on? We did an NCL cruise to Bermuda but we were on the Crown which really didn't have a lot to offer for anyone so I wouldn't recommend it, especially for kids. I know there have other ships that go there...I would consider something that was bigger and had more activities. We basically had a small pool, a casino and that's it.

Re: New York to Bermuda cruise on NCL
I went on NCL Spirit from NY to Bahamas in May and we weren't the biggest fans of the cruiseline overall. The food, excursions, etc. were just okay, not great. The boat was very rocky all the way down, and I guess they say that is typical. Each of us I travelled with had at least one "sick" day.
Kids activities will vary greatly from ship to ship.

Have you gone on other ships and compared them to NCL? Just wondered as we went on RCL last year and it was really nice and wasn't sure if NCL was the same.

Re: New York to Bermuda cruise on NCL
I can tell you from first hand experience (since I was looking for the opposite experience ) that Carnival has a great program for kids...that's why its the fun ship...not so fun for adults but great fun for kids!!! As far as Bermuda, I have been there three times and all three times were with RCCL. Your iteniary when going to Bermuda is important. Kings Wharf is not where you want to be for your whole port experience. St. George is where everything is. Just looked at RCCL and doesnt look like they're docking at St. George anymore. I wouldnt choose that itinerary then. Itinerary on NCL is better in that regard

Sorry, I am just seeing this now! We have also been on Carnival and it was a much better experience. The ship was cleaner, the staff was much more polite and professional, and we loved the port of calls.
