Newborn didn't sleep AT ALL today!
My 3 wk old DS slept maybe 1 hour total today...it's either the extreme heat (our AC is broken) or could it be that I switched his formula today (from Similac to Good Start)????
I just feel so bad for him...I want my little guy to get some rest.
What do you think???

I've had those days. They're really frustrating.
I've realized that DS cannot fall asleep on his own and I have to swaddle and rock him like i do at night to get him to nap during the day.
I know it's hard with no AC, but do you have a fan or something? Even the sound of the fan might help.

My Aunt came over so I ran out to Sears and bought a few fans to cool the place off.
I was just worried about him because, although he typically hasn't been taking long naps during the day, he was usually falling asleep after his bottle...and today nothing. I hope the fans help until we get the AC replaced.

oh gosh, I had those days to. I defibitely had a newborn who did not sleep during the day
