She owes me pictures too and I have been waiting and followed up.
I have my digital proofs so at least that's something but there has been a real lack of communication slow response all the way through.
BEWARE!
All I have is my digital proofs too... It's very disappointing

Cs would only delete a thread if it were false and the vendor could prove it. If this one gets pulled, Gina isn't a vendor so she would have to give them a valid reason as to why this was wrong.
SO far from the truth. I found my wedding photog on here due to many rave review. Then after booking would find someone posting a negative review the POOF it was gone. Three years later and talking to the Suffolk DA AND being on numerous tv channels, there were 30 something couples who got screwed by said photographer... Most of whom put reviews/concerns on this website.... But due to him being a PAYING vendor the negative comments were removed. Vendor didn't "Prove" anything, he just sent his checks. After 3 years of fighting for me and up to 6-7 for some others who will never get their photos of their special day I learned to take reviews on here with a grain of salt....Also used her and holiday pics went out a week after the holiday because they were delivered about 3-4 weeks late and had to ask for more pics I know we're taken. Pics were nice.. Just didn't receive the service that I had expected from some reviews on here.

I agree that CS doesnt only delete if there is a false post. As an LIW bride i can tell you they take sides of their paying vendors when the vendor is wrong. Im sorry to you girls who have had such terrible experiences with her! It seems there is a few.

I also went based on reviews... still dont have my wedding video... and I got married 7 years ago!!

I have to say though if you have a Costco membership her pics print great! And super cheap! I didn't get prints through her only digital proofs and went this route. I know it's frustrating since u got a package of some sorts but its a good option. Good luck!

THIS!!!! As much as I love this forum, if the vendor pays, they get the benefit of the doubt. I had serious issues with the DJ for my wedding and they took his side
When you post something like this, you are not telling people to never use her. There are many people who have AMAZING experiences, but some people don't and those people should be heard as much as the people with the great experiences because people should know how a vendor will react if something goes wrong. Things go wrong, vendors are human, but it's how they react after that reflects how they treat their customers.
Unfortunately a newborn shoot is a missed opportunity you can't get back. I would be DEVASTATED.

I would think that you as a client of any kind would WANT to hear people's opinions...good and bad to be able to make your own choice. I don't see why people are harping on this unless they are the vendor's friend...which if the person is practicing bad business it shouldn't matter. Bottom line i hope you get you photos!

wow, that's awful. I understand things happen but ESPECIALLY with a newborn shoot, she should have made a huge effort to reschedule asap. AND she has your desposit??? ugh sooo not cool, I would be beyond upset. I had a great experience with the photographer I used, and also have a very good friend who is a photographer, if you ever need recs.
