Newborn Photo Shoot for Shower Gift?
Hi Ladies,
I really want to give my cousin a newborn photo shoot for her baby shower and I was wondering if any of you had any experiences with any of the vendors listed here, or had other suggestions.
Ideally I would love the package to include the digital rights to the photos, however from what I have seen that doesn't seen to be the case. Go figure since that has become so popular with wedding photographers...
Any suggestions or help would be great!

You may want to post this over on the pregnancy or parenting boards. You will get a much better response over there

My sister-in-law does baby/child photography and is quite good! I'm sure she's cheaper than the others but she'll edit all the pics and give it to you on a disc! You can find her facebook page called My Child Photography.

Hi, I think that it is a really thoughtful idea. I thought about doing it for my bff but changed my mind for 2 reasons. You are right, most don't include the cd, or at least not the ones in my budget. I didn't want to but a gift that obligated someone to spend more money than they might have been comfortable with. And the second was, I didn't know if my taste in photographers was up to par with my bff's taste. I didn't want get to be obligated to buy photos from someone she might not have been looking into already.
I know that doesn't really help but thought I might share my experience.

This is the ONLY reason I'm not doing this for my friend's gift as well. She is very particular in her tastes and while I like to think I know her, I don't want to spend a lot of money on something she's not going to be really happy with. Maybe you can give her one of those Visa Gift Cards and include a little note saying "For Making Memories" or something like that.
