newborn rash

DS has newborn rash on most of his little face, his upper chest and back. AND he has dry skin! He's only 6weeks and I know it's normal to have the rash at this age, but how long does it stick around??? Should I be doing anything for it? I've used the Eucerin for the extreme dry patches (which has helped...) but I don't want to do anything to aggrevate the rash........

Advice?

Re: newborn rash

Totally normal. DD's rashes and skin irritations have gotten MUCH better the older she gets. I started slathering her with Aquaphor before bedtime every night when she was pretty young and this has helped tremendously!!
