Newborns, How much sleep?
OK since I am not used to Miranda sleeping very well during the day I am not sure how much sleep is normal. Today she has basically slept 2-3 hours between her feedings and is then up for about an hour to eat but falls right back to sleep. She will be 5 weeks tomorrow. Is this normal or should I worry?

That sounds PERFECT!!!
It's nice having a break while she naps, isn't it? I'm glad her schedule seems to be getting a little better.

Re: Newborns, How much sleep?
Totally normal... Alex is dealing much better with her digestive issues these days so she sleeps so much more during the day now. You would think that would make her much more alert during the night but it's the opposite. The more she sleeps comfortably during the day, the more she sleeps at night. I think if she doesn't get enough sleep during the day she gets cranky and overtired and has trouble sleeping at night then. Point being, it's normal - enjoy your free time while she naps! All my friends with toddlers tell me to live it up because I'll miss these days when the little one starts crawling and walking!
