newish to the board
Hello ladies!
A few years ago I posted on this board about my infertility.
I have POF and a unicornate uterus. IVF is our best option.
Finally, after 5 years, my husband and I have decided to go forward with IVF.
How we are going to be able to afford this, I don't know!!!
I guess the reason for this post is to officially introduce myself and ask a few questions.
- What are the benefits of d3 or d5? because of my issues, the dr recommended d3. Is this a good thing?
Thanks for reading and welcoming me to the boards!

Re: newish to the board
Hi there! I just replied to you on my post
We did four fresh cycles all failures. Our embryos never made it to blast, we finally tried a 3dt which also did not work. Egg quality is supposedly the issue. Only 30 years old and never skipped a period….nothing. I guess you just never know.

Welcome and best of luck!
Each situation is different as far as transfers. My dd resulted in a day 6 transfer!

Welcome and good luck. Depending on your situation and how many eggs you get a RE will recommend a 3d or a 5d. People have success with both. GL
