Newport in October
We are going to Newport in the beginning of October. Wondering if anyone has been there around that time. We have been there in the summer. Is everything still open???

We went mid-October last year. Everything was open except a handful of the smaller mansions, all the larger more touristy ones were open. We stayed at the Francis Malbone Inn which was right near the town, went to the winery one day(the day we arrived), did the mansions the next day, walked around the town a lot; in and out of all the shops. It was a great weekend trip!
