Newport Wedding

Has anyone ever been to a wedding in Newport, RI?
I am looking for ANY info...places, experiences, locations etc.

We went for the first time last week and I am in love!!

I got married in Newport in at a place called Belcourt Castle. It is one of the mansions on Bellevue (I think that's the name of the street w/ the houses?) There are a few you can get married in- depends on whether you want to do big or small. How many people are you thinking?

We also looked into the Marriot with the lighthouse that you see from the bridge when you drive into town, and I know a lot of people just go out to the beach on that road that loops out (Ocean Drive or Cliff Drive?) and walk out into the surf to get married.

That is how it started for us, we went up for a weekend and just fell in love with the town!

Try these web sites to get wedding info. We saw a wedding at Rosecliff being set up when we finished our tour there, and one at Belcourt Castle.

My coworker got married in Newport! His wedding pictures are stunning! And it's right on the water! It's an inn or resort on Ocean Ave. Maybe it was Castle Hill Inn & Resort.

We saw tons of wedding parties and limos out on Ocean Ave getting sunset photos taken too!
