NHR: Sorry...got a question

I have a baptism for my DH's cousin next weekend and I have no idea what to give. I haven't been to a baptism in years. MY MIL said to give a $75 bond...do people still give bonds?

Re: NHR: Sorry...got a question

You can do a bond, although personally, I'd just write them a check.

DD got a bond from almost everyone in our family for her baptism. Personally, I like her getting them. It's just one of many ways we save for her future (college, car, home). I'm a planner, can you tellChat Icon

Re: NHR: Sorry...got a question

i get bonds because i think the parents don't have a savings account for the child and the parents would spend the money. bond has a better chance to get saved for the future.

Write a personal check out for $50 or $100.
