Nice restaurant in Nassau County
Looking for an upscale, elegant and generally not too loud restaurant in Nassau (central or north shore). Just want something different for a dinner out.
I'm tapped for ideas. I loved Friend of a Farmer, but that closed.

Garden City has a bunch of nice places. DH and I just went to Waterzooi last weekend, it was great.

My inlaws went to Thyme in Roslyn and said it was very good. Also IL Mulino on Northern blvd (its either manhasset or roslyn-not sure where one starts and the other stops)

I agree, this place is very good and quiet.
