Nice way to get squirrels out of the house??

My friend has a squirrel - or more than one - in her attic or roof area - she hears them running across the house. Is there a place she can call rather than an exterminator that will, in a humane way, get the squirrel and release it?? I just don't want it to have to die b/c it got into her house and probably cannot get out.

HAve her call an exterminator. They will take the squirrals away. Unfortunatly, they are creators of habit and they will come back, that is why they are killed, sometomes.

She really needs to find out where they are coming in and get it fixed.

When I lived in my apt, I was the top floor of a cape, so no attic and I had what sounded like 2 elephants running back and forth above me. My landlady called in an exterminator and he told her that he took out 2 racoons AND a family of 5 squirrels. They had gotten in through a broken air vent on the side of the house!!!

No wonder it was noisey up there....there was some party going on!!!
