NICE Wood dining table....what to use to protect it?

it's a Broyhill dining set but it's in our kitchen and we're using it daily.....

I love the way it looks, but with the baby and the constant use, I'm afraid it will get destroyed.

Glass is a good idea. You could also get custom table pads made.

We have a beautiful wood table that we use for our kitchen as well (Hooker) and we didn't put anything on it. Even though it's just the 2 of us it looks like crap! I suggested getting a piece of glass and he refused. Definitely get the glass! You'll be able to see your beautiful table and keep it nice.
