nice work!
I interview Jillian Michaels regularly (trainer) for my mag but I am running low on fresh questions for her. What do YOU want to know from Jillian? It's a monthly q/a thing I do with her....can be general OR about the show....
THANKS! DONE!
1: What do you tell people who get lazy on you? How do you amp them up? 2: Is it better to work out in a.m. OR p.m.? Why? What do you prefer? 3: Tell me a typical breakdown of what you eat. Breakfast--lunch--and dinner. 4: Do you ever cheat? If you're going to cheat, what food/meal would it be? 5: If you weren't a trainer, what would you do? Why? 6: What makes NBC's Biggest Loser work? What makes it great and so popular? 7: Are you still in contact with previous winners? Do you still give them diet advice if you are? 8: Alcohol. What's your thought on wine drinking and other alcoholic beverages? Are they REALLY bad for the waistline? 9. Are rest days important? How many? 10: Working out when traveling? How to fit it in?

Re: Help! Biggest Loser
I want to know if she'll come train me.
I know that's not helpful - but seriously!
Okay, I will probably have 1,000 questions in about half an hour... once I start thinking about it.

I've been through how to get rid of cellulite with her (you can't, but you can help smooth it and drink water!), calorie info, how to amp people up, and she adds in tons of stuff to promote NBC....I'm also asking her to take me through a typical day of what she eats...but I could use some help! :)

Re: Help! Biggest Loser
Is she still in contact with any of the previous winners?
If so, does she still give them advice?
What are some good exercises for pregnant ladies? (I'm not btw)
How does she feel about WW and it's longevity?

Re: Help! Biggest Loser
Is there such a thing as overexercising, and if so, where do we draw the line?
Are rest days important? How many (if any) should we take each week?
How much should we realistically be doing -- cardio, strength training, yoga, etc.?
I've heard that you have to do at least 30 consecutive minutes of cardio to get any results. Is this true or can you break it up into shorter workouts?
Is strength training on consecutive days a bad idea?
Any tips for squeezing in workouts if you must travel a lot for work?
How can I get some strength training done without all the expensive equipment? (assuming one can't join a gym for whatever reason)

great! thank you; I am sending her some of these...and you should rest at least 2 days, or else, you risk overtraining and not making any good gains. Oh, and she's not a huge yoga fan...ha ha

Re: nice work!
How does she feel about Alli? Does she think it can be helpful or does she think it's not worth the hype?
Supplements, vitamins? What's important and what's not?

Oooh....Alli is bad news. One of our PhDs just wrote an article about it...I see law suits in its future. But you asked JM, not me. Oops.

I think I agree with you, but I'm curious what a fitness expert thinks. I would love to read that article. Can you forward it?
