Night #2 of no bottles: A little bit of progress...
Ok, so last night I gave him a bottle at 11pm. He woke up at 2:45am again and I tried the pacifer, no dice, so I gave him an oz of water and after the inital "what the crap are you giving?" look, he took it and dozed off.
Here is the weird thing, he woke up at 6am, I gave him the paci and he went back to sleep. I left for work at 7:30am and he was still sleeping. At 12:30 I was talking to DH and I asked when he woke up, DH told me 8:15am, and I said, oh, so he ate then? DH said "You didn't feed him before you left? Cause I haven't fed him either?" So, do we think I shouldn't give him the 11pm bottle either (he had one at 8pm, and I went in and picked him up and fed him the 11pm one)?

5 months. My doctor wants no bottles between 11pm-5am b/c he kind of has his days and nights confused. I have been giving them 11pm bottle to ease the transition (on me )

I would skip the 11pm bottle if he isn't crying for it. Try the water again tonight at the 2am feeding if he wakes up and eventually he'll probably just stop waking for it.

I would try skipping the 11 p.m. bottle and see what happens. You can always give it again the next night.

Hangin there - the first few days are rough but he will realize that he isn't going to get fed and then hopefully he will start sleeping through. I did the same with my son and now he only whines once or twice through the night. He is sleeping from 8pm to 7am!!
