Night out with DH.... a reflection on the last year...
so.. we have no DD for the next 16 hours... and DH and I are actually going out with friends tonight TOGETHER!!!! I am really looking forward to this.... really am excited!!! And the post on your relationship with DH after DC made me start thinking.... we need to do this more often... we cant forget about OUR relationship while raising DD, or we will become two distant people who just happen to live together....
So... today... after a year of our relationship changing... and definitely not always for the best... I am making a pledge to work on my relationship and dedicate time to US as oppossed to just focusing on DD.... because we need to be good role models for DD, just like my parents were for me....

Thats wonderful! I am sure you and DH will have a great night out....
We too are making an effort to be all that we can be for each other, knowing that it will only enhance life for our DD....
