night sweats?

The last 2 nights I have woke up in a horrible night sweat. Is it the bfing? Is this normal? I am still engorged on the left, but I don't think its infected..it looks better. I don't have a temp either, just these sweats.

OMG this is completely normal! I used to wake up with the whole bed absolutely soaked through with BM and sweat. It was amazingly horrible! It did end, probably at around 4/5 weeks...

This is normal. Chat Icon I have heard that it has to do w/ the hormone levels adjusting PP.

Janice as you can see its normal...I don't think I experienced this because my DH turns the heat off in our room and sleeps with the fan on...I'm usually freezing to death!!! Chat Icon

Re: night sweats?

thanks! I can't believe how drenched I wake up. postpartum is super sexy. new stretch marks, taped up incision, my boobs are constantly out with pumping rings around them, swollen feet, and add in sweatbag.

Re: night sweats?

I was extremely sweaty in the beginning too. I thought it was just because we had the heat cranked when we first brought Lily home. It has been better lately.

I'll never forget all the night of being so incredibly hot that I swore I was going to suffocate. It will end when your hormones adjust.

Re: night sweats?

Yup, totally normal, your body is getting rid of all that fluid you had during your pregnancy...
