Night Time Anxiety???
Jiavana use to sleep wonderfully in her crib at night. She has been sleeping through the night from about 2 1/2 mths or so. Now for the past 2 weeks, it is crazy.
She just won't stay asleep in her crib. She screams bloody murder if we put her down. Even if we let her fall asleep with us first and move her she wakes up. She has never been like this. We tried letting her cry before going in there, a light up crib toy that plays music, a mobile, a nightlight, but the only way she stays asleep is in bed with us.
I need to break this habbit because I am not getting any sleep with her in bed with us!
Any suggestions? Anyone else experience this?

Re: Night Time Anxiety???
Gianna started this the end of feb and we haven't slept since, it's is getting a bit better. I think for her it's a mixture of teething, separation anxiety and gas pains. Gianna used to go down in her crib for naps, and wave nite nite before bed and was sleeping at least 11 hours since 4-6 weeks old.
we spend one on one quality time in her room for about a 1/2 hour before her bedtime. I know it's bad but to cope, i have been letting her fall asleep on her last bottle then putting her to bed.
If she's awake when we put her down, one of us will stay with her til she falls asleep while she's in her crib.
She may wake 3-4 times a night, but we co sleeping doesn't work for us at all, nobody sleeps!
I'm right with ya, and being pg doesn't help either-I AM EXHAUSTED!!!

Re: Night Time Anxiety???
Jordana is doign this now. It started when she figured out how to stand in her crib. It keeps her awake. Then the 3 teeth coming on top (her first 3 there) didn't help.
I just hope and its a phase.

Re: Night Time Anxiety???
I hope so to. Her gums are swollen and they have been swollen for quite some time now. Every day I look for a tooth to pop just for the relief of being able to have a good night's sleep.
I saw almost every hour last night between her letting out little sounds (I'm a light sleeper) and me having to Pee a million times.
I am exhausted.
